I came across this article in a scientific journal earlier today.  Earth has stayed habitable for billions of years – exactly how lucky did we get?  by Toby Tyrrell, Professor of Earth System Science, University of Southampton. His video on YouTube goes along with the article Life On Earth, Are We Here By Chance? It has been said that it takes more faith to believe in the theory of evolution than in intentional design (creation). This article and video cement that statement for me. The author, who is a secular scientist, is explaining that he ran thousands of simulations trying to establish if other planets in our galaxy would be able to sustain human life - and found that none could for any viable length of time. He states, "On nearly every occasion in the simulation when a planet remained habitable for 3 billion years, it was partly down to luck.
