I shared a sermon earlier today about how God has interacted with nations throughout history. We examined the fact that God has used many different nations to accomplish his work. Although Israel are his chosen people, he has brought correction, direction and hope through many different people groups. God's ultimately goal is to bring salvation to his creation by whatever means possible and he has and will use anyone who is willing to be part of his plan.
The Apostle Paul said in Acts 17:26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
The book of Job says in Job 12:23 He makes nations great, and destroys them; he enlarges nations, and disperses them.

God is seeking people, individuals or groups, who will allow him to use them to draw others back into relationship with him. The US has not replaced Israel as God's chosen people. We are just one of many people(s) who must make the choice to either serve God and receive his continued blessing or ignore him and receive his correction
God wants to bless his people, the church, no matter what race or nationality we may be. He wants to use true believers to be lights in the dark world around them. We each make the choice to live for God or live for ourselves - America, what will our choice be?
Psalm 67:7 May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.
